I remember when I was younger, I had a pair of Nike Air Max. However, I didn't know the exact model at that time. It was only when I grew older and became interested in the sneaker scene that I discovered the model. Introducing my first Air Max- the Nike Air Max 180, ladies and gentlemen.

My dad took me shopping. And when men go shopping, there's always a purpose, we were going after new shoes that evening. I was too young to remember the whole decision-making process, but you bet it's a choice I don't regret (and YES I do regret getting some of the sneaker releases over the years).

For as long as I can remember, I would go sneaker shopping once a year. So, it was always a big exciting event for me. The annual event would also happen to be right around the lunar new year (like a tradition that we celebrate a good new year by wearing new clothes and shoes), total joy.

I believe it was the colorway that first caught my attention. The cleanness of the white with just enough sub (ultramarine) and accent (solar red) colors, combined with that visible air bubble (still a huge deal back then), I could not have made a better choice at that time. Bravo! Young me!

It's been 33 years since the Nike Air Max 180 first came out in 1991. Looking back, I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to cop one of the many legendary Air Max at the age of 9. I'm forever grateful to my parents.

I'm thinking hard right now of my sneakers over the years at a younger age. Other than Nike, I've had Adidas, Converse, New Balance, Reebok, and other less-known brands that I can't recall. But it's been tough remembering the models from those brands. One model I searched desperately and finally found was the Adidas Mercury as shown down below. I assumed it was from the 90s, and carried out the search on Google. Unfortunately, not much information is available.

Anyway, I'm so glad that I started this blog and it made me feel so blessed. What's your fondest sneaker memory when you were little?

Come Correct. B-9s.
